Hi there,
Here are the steps I took and my setup:
Setup - Xbox connected to my PC through a cross-over network cable in the ethernet port. PC connected via a Netgear WG311T wireless card to my router.
Steps -
Downloaded and install XLink Kai.
It said I was unreachable, so I port fowarded 30000 to 30000 UDP.
Started Kai again, still said I was unreachable.
Any advice/help would be appreciated. |

You forwarded the port, but did you enter "30000" into the "Kai Port" field in kaiConfig?

Ah, sweet..set the port in Kai config and it looks like it is working fine now. I know this is off topic but do you need to forward any ports to be able to FTP into your Xbox (via Evox)? |

No, you don't need to forward ports for that. Remember, both the xbox and the pc are in your local network. *should* you want to enable ppl from the internet to reach your xbox's ftp-server then you need to forward port 21 (ftp-port) to your xbox's ip #. |
