HG wins then, hands down? There were a few games that did the "oh you have 2meg ram.. here.. have some mores sound" thing. 'Walker' being another. |

I can't deny the Wolfenstein 3D and Doom series. I used to play Duke3D shit loads but for comedy value... I think Unreal or Half Life were the first games since Doom to make me go wow though... Since then I've been vastly unimpressed... |

Halo 1 (countless hours co-oping with a friend of mine, since its release on the xbox.. best gaming times ever  )
Call of Duty (nice single player, very intense)

The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay is by far the best fps i have play and killzone is second best. |

Golden Eye for n64. The Guns, sounds and maps were fucking sweet. Revolutionary. Then I would have to say Battlefield 1942 for PC which also introduced a great concept to multiplayer gaming. |

Operation Flashpoint (PC) simply amazing, ignore the outdated graphics, gameplay alone makes this a must have.
Battlefield 1942, and battlefield 2 (PC) Brilliant!
Half-Life and Counter-Strike (PC)....need i say anymore? (awaiting the orange box on 360)
Unreal Tournament (PC) f**k quake....this game was it, back in the day |

duke u just made my life complete by saying fck quake and ut is were its at
ive been a part of the ut series ever since 99 that was a good tournament year, but my place is in 2004 im waiting of UT3 and i prolly will be hook for months |

I played a few of the newer UT games, never got into them as much as the classic UT. |
