Kaid over WDS (with wrt54GS and Alchemy)

Hi, i wonder if someone has setup Kai over a WDS link. My setup is:

DSL <-> R1 <-> WDS <-> R2 <-> Xbox

Both R1 and R2 are Linksys WRT54GS with latest Alchemy. I access Inet from anyware in the LAN. I have Kaid running on R2 and port 37500 UDP fowarded to R2. In the conf file i have:

Verbosity = 0
UIBind = 192.168.1.2:34522
OrbPort = 34525
EngineBind = 192.168.1.2:37500
EnginePAT = 0
SniffDevice = vlan0
MacLearningMode = Manual
IgnoreMacs =
ConsoleMacs = xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
ConfigURL = www.teamxlink.co.uk/connector/clientgetconfig.php
Username =
Password =
AutoLogin = 0
XBoxHomebrew = 0

In SniffDevice ive tried all "ifconfig" values ... vlan0, br0, eth0, eth1, ...
in MacLearningMode asswell (Auto, FirstFound and Manual).
When i enter XBMC Kai gui i see arenas, users, pings, ... everything. But when i start a game, i never get to reach any (i did before when wired).
I hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance, azarug.

NOTE: Ive been told that the problem is just routing, but still cant get it to work.

Is DHCP disabled on R2 and what IP does your XBOX get?

Also, is the firewall disabled on R2 and what IP do each R1 and R2 have?

I'm also trying to get this to work. My setup is

DSL/WAG54g <-WDS->WRT54G <-wired xbox, wireless laptop

Right now i'm running wds under HyperWRT. the xbox and laptop can all access the internet, via the wrt, but the wrt itself is unable to (it resolves DNS names correctly, but cannot ping them). My linux/networking is too shakey to fix the problem... so all help gratefully received.
