Slight confusion

So, I am trying to get my PSP working in multiplayer. However I am a useless monkey when it comes to networking stuff so was hoping someone could help me.

I have a Laptop with network card built in

A wireless card
which has Linksys WG 2.4ghz 802.11g Notebook Adaptor written on it.

A wireless Router

A ntl broadband modem

Should this little lot enable me to play PSP multiplay or do I need something else?

Check the back of the card, I dont have it with me right now but I think should give you the model number.
If its a WPC54GS then just follow the Screenshot Guide exactly and you can't go wrong.
If its a WPC54G then you may be in for a bumpy ride, had mixed reports on these.... so far.

all sorted thanks...

still having some problems as my wireless card keeps flipping between peer to peer and generic connection... dunno why though

Any idea why it keeps losing the connection between generic connected and connected as Peer to Peer?

Also, when you want to join rather than host games, whats the process?

Enable card, turn on PSP, then attempt to join a game, then start Kai? or should I be doing something different?

I seem to be able to host games successfully (ish) but never join any...

to join just enable your card, begin hosting, load kai, and when your psp is configured by kai then you can exit out of your game and join other people's Smile
