Yes, I have to agree there will be several Halo 2 fanboys coming here and spamming Halo 2. The problem is though this topic will turn into one great argument. |

Halo and Call of duty brought me into the fps genre so for me, i'd say they were my favourites.... though i don't even own CoD and haven't played on halo for ages.... they still rule.
But, the best newer game out is gr2 purely because of the fluid play and non halo 2 lagging capacity.... but sure, halo 2 deserves some kudos for being cool.... |

i remember playing Goldeneye on n64 and thinking that was the best game ever. it had great guns, great play, it seemed like it had it all. just the thought of the game makes me want to play a few rounds, now all i gotta do is find that damn n64 and ill be set... |

Wolfenstein 3d, the granddaddy of all FPS, will always be my favorite. I still play that game once in awhile. |

but, i have to admit that i still have quake2 on my pc and i still play it. what a fucking piece of software!! |

Command & Conquer Renegade is the BEST multiplayer ever I just loved it!

Quake 3 all the way. Gore, guns, instagib, Quake had everything a shooter needs and nothing extra.
Quake 2's single player is pretty good as well. |

(early 90's) Wolfenstein 3D (PC)... I played that forever
(late 90's) GoldenEye (N64)... the Best MP FPS (Halo1 was almost as good)
(2000+) Medal of Honor:AA & Call of Duty (PC) Enjoyed these two the most for the past 5 years. |
