Can't change Deep Port and Packet Capture Engine

As a FastWeb user I know I need to set the deep port to a certain value (and I think I need to use PSSDK), but I can't: every time I change its value from the XLink Kai Configuration Tool it remains "undefined" when I open again the tool. Same thing for PSSDK: I select it, but every time it switches back to Winpcap (other settings seem to be fine, they remember the changes). I have even tried to manually edit the kaiUserConfig.txt file and set it to read-only mode so that I could keep the lines regarding the deep port and the kailib, which got deleted every time I opened the configuration tool.

Are you using a router? Yes
Did you set a static IP on the PC running Kai? I did but to no avail, now I switched back to dynamic since my router supports Upnp.
Did you forward port 30000 to the static IP? Same as above, I did and it didn't work, and I plan to use Upnp.
Did you click the globe after forwarding to see if your network goes reachable? Yes
What console are you using? Xbox 360
Is your console being detected? Yes
Brief description of your network setup: PC to router through wifi and Xbox 360 to router through ethernet.
Model numbers of the router, and modem? Technicolor TG582n
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? Disabling both the Kaspersky firewall and the Windows one did not make things better.
Operating System? Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate

Deep Port and PSSDK were removed on kai's last revision. Where are you
getting stuck when you try and connect?

Could I use the past version of Kai if I wanted to?

Is there a specific reason you need to change the deep port and need to use PSSDK? I ask because you don't normally need to change these per ISP.

If you really need to use PSSDK you can use 7.4.27.

Actually yes. As I said, I'm a FastWeb user and this ISP is known to be causing problems with Kai. I've been scouring the internet lately and it looks like FastWeb users need to swap their port and deep port. I'll try version 7.4.27 and let you know. Thanks for the help.

7.4.27 didn't let me use PSSDK nor set the deep port. I had to switch back to 7.4.26.

I tried all kinds of combinations, but none worked, always not reachable. I'm afraid I can't do much about it, it must depend on my provider.

[Q1] Do you have any plans to remove it from Kai Config UI in version 7.4.27 or later?

[Q2] Do you have any plans to revive Deep Port in newer version?

The WebUI is shared between all versions of the engine so an update will be created that removes it on versions above that of 7.4.26.

At this point in time, no.

Deep Port is an old feature that hasn't done anything in at least five years. We removed it to avoid confusion.
