im trying to get psp type b working on a windows 8 computer but am having 0 luck. does anyone know how to get it working with windows 8?

Have you downloaded and installed the latest 64 bit version of the driver and not some old 32 bit version ?

in fact it wont even let me install the 64 bit driver and ive read up on it and everyone with windows 8 has been having the same problem

Have you tried to install the driver in compatibility mode ? I suggest you google for "PSPdisp 0.6" run it compatibility mode and just install the psp type b driver nothing else.
