I did that and I am still encountering the problem, any other solutions?


I've also tried right clicking on the kaiEngine.exe and selecting run as administrator from there. That opens up a webpage trying to go to http://localhost:34522/

Nothing else happens.

As we said in the link, make sure you have it running in both Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode as well as running as Administrator. The default file path for the file you want to change how it runs should be...

Windows 7 32 bit
C:\Program Files\XLink Kai\kaiEngine.exe

Windows 7 64bit
C:\Program Files (x86)\XLink Kai\kaiEngine.exe

Right click it and select properties and do the following....

If that doesn't work like you said (double check for me if you can, please), I would assume that you have some antivirus that is not allowing Kai to run with the full privileges it needs. If that is the case, make sure to configure it so kaiEngine.exe can run with being restricted in anyway.
