adhoctousb just not working

yeah topic... i wanted to play monster hunter freedom unite so i thought i will get this...
so i installed everything and stuff, like the guide tells me to...
first, it corrupted my monster hunter save, which RAGES me!
second, the bridge thing is stuck on "searching for psp" .
i have CFW 5.50 prometheus 4

If you're using a 64-bit OS, then installing all the drivers can be a problem. Sounds to me like an issue with the install of the PSP plug-in (game.txt, not enabled in recovery etc) or the loopback adapter install. Your PSP firmware is OK, we know that much.

BTW, there's no way it could have corrupted your save game as you don't go anywhere near your save files in any part of this install process.

Post back after you've followed the guide/s again and say at what point your install differs from them. Maybe some screenshots of your bridge/kai metrics? Try V1 of the bridge if you are already using v2...
