Hey,
Okay so I have the white Wifimax (the one that came with zydas 1211b) I plug it into my CPU, CPU recognizes it and installs "Atheros AR5007UG Wireless Network Adapter" which is the updated version of 1211b.
I have tried to uninstall and re-install with 1211b however, when I go to plug in my wifimax my cpu automatically installs Atheros AR5007UG Wireless Network Adapter. When I go and try to change the install path I get the pop-up box saying, Windows has chosen best driver for this device. So I went with it. So from here I downloaded, "NetSetMan" it's a program that allows you to control multiple wireless connections.

My laptop specs, I run win7 x64 (that's the issue) I have a wireless card connected to my internet and my wifimax picks up the PSP game MHF_etc. so I connect wifimax to my psp and my pc to internet, it all work with in NetSetMan, reason I know the controller actually works, I can connect to my internet with my wifimax and switch to connect with me card, so the software is legit.

I have xlink configed like all the pictures say too, (playing Monster Hunter on PSP) get into ad-hoc channel 1 -done, goto guild hall room 1-21(think) -done, see no one.

I know for a fact that xlink isn't seeing my psp game for some odd reason even though my PC has been connected to both.

Am I over looking something? Am I just wrong altogether and need to just quit trying..

very frustrated,
rave

p.s ask any question, but prepared to answer back when I say how do I do this, or that. Still fairly new to xlink, just not CPU's

p.p.s I have everything set to run in compatibility mode xp sp2 and run as admin, and i have tried it with out, and sp3, and vista.

Evil or Very Mad

You need to install the ZyDAS drivers manually. Here's some drivers that might work: http://www.teamxlink.org/binary/ZD1211BWinPkgS_6_17_0_0_ALL.exe

As I said before, every time I try to install ZD1121b as the drivers for wifimax my cpu says that the AR500blah blah is better and installs that with out my say so.

Although xLink says it can see the driver in the config menu but it cannot work with it i guess..

Welp I tried that to a T, have windows in test mode and everything to even get windows to run the drivers for ZD, also another issue im running into is my CPU wants to read my USB stick as a LAN not WLAN. I think I'm about to break my PSP, is there a way todo this w/o the usb?
