I downloaded XLink Kai Evolution 7 yesterday from here and McAfee also picked up a Trojan.
A friend downloaded today using Norton with the same thing??

It's not a trojan. Just disable your anti-virus and it should work fine.

Some anti-virus programs think the kai engine is a virus due to the way it has to access your home network, It needs complete access to the network hardware so that your game consoles think the data came from another console and not your computer.

TL;DR Kai does not contain a virus, it is a false positive from your anti-virus software.

Result:
0/ 43 (0.0%)

I agree with the rest. It's a false positive. Just add it to your exceptions and go about your business Smile
