Just wondering whats are the best maps for head to head play. I am thinking of starting a weekly tournament based on solo play.
Also what settings work best ?
Many thanks

I think Lockout is just a bit too big, I would suggest Midship. |

no, but i'm planning on doing some testing the weekend.
but looks like midship, and perhaps lockout, I would like to add one more map for variaty.
or perhaps different modes, like specific weapons.
but for week one, I think i will keep it simple. |

yeah, Beaver Creek can create some intense 1 v 1 games. it's also small enough so you don't spend 5 mintues playing hide and seek. |

I was playing 1v1 tourny, just me and my friends last night, and we used:
Midship:
Only Shotgun.
And it was a blast (pun intended,) we were sticking each other left, right and centre while getting blasted with the shotgun. |

Foundation is a good one for 1v1 because you can always fine the person.. its not a cat and mouse game.. its a straight up deathmatch. it would be perfect for tourneys because they would go quick. |

problem is not everyone has Foundation. you either have to unlock it by beating the game, or XBL unlocks it. |

Well lockout gets my vote simply because it has no rocket launcher and swords are banned from tourny games.
The single shot weapons and no radar are a combination for camping and thats no fun at all.
the sniper rifle is fine because its a weapon that requires skill to use well espically in small levels.
Midship suck's arse its a 5 minute design and as much fun root canal work.
I mean come on bungie you had 3 damn years to make breath taking levels for multiplayer and you turned out headlong and waterworks on large scale and lockout/ ivory tower on small scale the rest were just a let down.
Thanks for your time. |

Foundation is pretty good; second only to Beaver Creek. Gotta love swords on Beaver Creek. |
