So you need a network adapter to use Kai? If I get the Planex adapter and plug in my USB, will Kai recognize my PSP? Do I need to plug my PSP in as well?

Just install the driver of your wifi stick set it to psp xlink mode (go to device manager, properties of your wifi stick, advanced and set psp xlink mode to activate) for your psp just switch the wlan switch on and set your psp to adhoc channel 1.

Wifi Stick/Dongle USB Adapter is just a generalization, in your case i mean the Planex adapter you want to buy.
