Hey Guys,
I have a WRT54GL running stock firmware that I'm having difficulty setting up. I setup xlink kai on my home PC, which is using my TPLink wireless adapter. When I actually run Xlink Kai, it disables my network adapter on this PC, removing me from the net.
I read the guide for the WRT54G and using that for Xlink Kai on the top of the page, but I didn't want to damage the firmware on my 54GL because I wasn't sure if it was compatible or not.
I haven't even started setting it up on my PSP yet, but I figure I'll get to that shortly.

I am in the same situation as you, almost. I too have a GL.
Here is the deal: the 54GL is NOT compatible with the firmware, as said by AhMan (the creator) himself. There wont be any updates most likely, as he left the project to work on iRShell.
Other than that, as far as I know, you will either need a different router or a dedicated network adapter that is compatible with Kai. |

Rats, I was hoping I could get this without additional expense
Oh well, does Team Xlink Recommend any particular USB device or something I can use? |
