It's great to see different interpretations of something artistic and humane.

Not be a stickler, but Pangaea was 1.1 billion years ago, not thousands of years. There were no humans around then, I assure you. Smile

But that's besides the point.

I did not read any anti-American sentiments from this video. It is a graphic appeal for peace and non-violent resolutions.

Look, people ARE dying. Innocent civilians and misguided military personnel alike. This video asks a simple question, "Does it have to be this way?" I think not, but what do I know? Maybe war is nature's way of weeding out the masses. Or perhaps war is the inevitable result of over population and is needed to purge humanity like when there are too many fish in a pond and they start eating one another. Who knows? Maybe somewhere deep down in our 'evolved' brains there is autonomic wiring that makes us behave this way. Something our cultured and cerebral consciousness tries to justify with topical themes like 'freedom' and 'democracy'.

I just believe that war is just a part of life. The only way there would be a world without war is if we all were the same.

There are to many personalities, life styles, beliefs, and Body language to make it so that everyone gets along. Everybody judges people and puts people into categories whether they realize it or not.

This is the main reason that there are so many violent acts and stupid decisions made.

The human race has evolved so much internally and externally from the ape (If you believe in that theory), but when it all comes down to it we are still as basic as apes. We give our enemy or the threat a warning, and if they listen we attack.

I had some business at the government offices downtown yesterday. As I walked past the Veteran's Administration Building I glanced up the sidewalk toward the door and saw a veteran soldier on his way in. I guessed he was about 25 or so. He had a small boy tagging along with him I thought the boy looked about 4, most likely his son. After a moment he was fumbling with the door, I realized the veteran was on crutches, then noticed one of his legs was missing from mid thigh. I walked the 1/2 block back to my truck, in sort of a daze and really wasn't ready to drive away yet. I sat down in the grass near where I was parked lit up a cigarette. Almost an hour later I got in my truck drove home to find my kids playing in the yard and finally forgot all about what had staggered me earlier.

It was temporary.

The first bit of that, about how war is a way of life. Our life styles, belifes, body language. And how if we were all the same.

That really reminds me of a book we had to read last year (8th grade). It was basically a world, Where everybody was the same, They never wanted, they never had more than another. Because of this, they did not know War, Greed, Hate. Or any of those things.
I think it was called "The Giver" I dont know if that was the point of the book, But it really threw that message at me. Which backs my point up, As long as people are different, have the freedom to be individuals, there will always be war. One forcing their opinions on another. Thats just life, and i dont see that changing.
