I still haven't given up on 360 on Kai. FarCry 360 maybe our best bet to get a game going on here. It's a port with updated gfx, so maybe the foregot the ping restrictions this time. Anybody want to try?
Have we tested GRAW? |

i dont understand why they would try and get red of programs like xlink and XBC.
Of course there are a bunch of people that just download games but they were doing that before xlink and XBC. Most of the people that have Xlink/XBC have live as well.
There not going to gain any money from this. |

I think it's counterproductive as well, but what do I know.....
All of the game developers use the same libraries - the Microsoft Xbox Development Kit (XDK) to build games. To establish a system link session, the Xboxes have to do a "key exchange" that sets up the encrypted connection. This is a different process than Live uses, so it is very easy for MS to build a time limit into the key exchange that would only affect system link connections. It's also possible that the ping limit is a side effect of some other performance optimization that they've done, but I doubt it. |

Hi Duke....
Its not really cheating.. it's cheesing...
All the gameplay bugs are getting exploited on live as much as possible...
Where system link players have only one goal... to have fun .. on live its all about winning.. and no-one cares how they win.. just if they win...
On live the cheesing consist of...
1. Constant powerless wide serves
2. returns with LT+X without momentum (Gives back a real real slow slice shot which gives him enough time to get in position)
3. Constant lobs and lob returns
4. Constant dropshots etc ...
I played topspin1 like crazy on system link. Then i tried playing on live...
I reached the top 20 spot within the week.. but after that .. i played for another week and then i quit ... all the cheesers make me crazy
With kind regards
Marco |
