Yeah, The first one had system link but it was only accesable if you had a Xbox live account.

Fortunatly they allowed system link without logging in this time.

Me and a friend tried it for voice, But obviously we couldn tfind out as Multiplayer is teamplay, And we had to be on opposite teams.,

Didnt notice any extra icons etc when plugging in/unplugging the communicator,
So my guess is that it's not got voice.

thanks, been dying to try this online. it doesn't seem as polished as the first but man the ai flanks like a bitch on authentic.

i tried this last night, it works but no voice. anyone figure out how to get the voip to work?

Actually you just need to complete the first level of single player to unlock the co-op mode for system link. Multiplayer is excellent. All the new options are great, newer simpler controls, control armored vehicles, snipers, soldiers with shoulder rockets, soldiers can be aimed manually, recruit reinforcements when playing as the mujahedeen, use americans, coalition, mercenaries, fedayeen, mujahideen or warlord factions, capturable spawns in some maps, up to four factions at once, up to 8 players total.

Note some player named no6 in the soviet era BMP Carrier has already blown up the humvee on the left in the third pic. None of the images are pre-rendered, they are all game footage.

No voice. Just use ventrillo, teamspeak, skype or even the voice feature on kai. With all these voice crippled games coming out those options are looking more appealing all the time.
