Anyone getting this one for the Xbox not the 360? I am looking foward to it. I'm suprised there hasn't been more talk of it. Maybe because it hasn't shown up in the 'news' yet.

17/3/06 (thats the 17th of march 06) it comes out here in the UK.

As i have no xbox360 (yet) i will be getting the xbox version first. Im expecting to buy the 360 bundled with GRAW when i have the funds.

I was told by a local store that the Xbox release date was the same date as the 360 here in the US. March 9th. I don't know.

ya if this game is good for the xbox , and why wouldn't it be, [tHc] will be playin this alot .. :]

In USA. Xbox And 360 versions will both be officially available on the 9th March.
However it has been available today in certain stores,

In England (U.K)
360 Version comes 10th March
Xbox version comes 17th March
Ps2 version comes 31st March
And PC Version Comes in May...

My copy is on its way on the Quick And should be in my hands by the time I wake up.

I have however Had comfirmation That Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter on XBOX.

First Impressions:

Dont expect this to be a follow up to summit strike, totally different in every aspect.

Think rainbow six, with a dash of splinter cell (night visions, chaff grenades mess up your hud) and of course ghost recon.

The maps i have played a quite big, some annoying features though, having to exit the game to swap weapon packs,game modes, etc.

love the bullet effects though, nice to see them hitting walls, and smashing windows etc.
Tip:dont hide behind cars...get shot through the windows. Razz

No doubt the Gr2 community will either love it or hate it...im a bit of both at the moment.

Has anyone added this to there kai-vectors.xml and if so could you please let us know watht the line should be?

I also nee the correct ling for Summit Strike if you have that as well. ?

16 players on systemlink and on live play, voice...but i heard it has a ping limit to like 50.

on live you cannot play ranked games with friends, they wont be able to join you and you wont be able to invite them

BUT: if you do want to play with your friends you can play in a non ranked room, they will be able to join you and you can send invites.

Im with Duke on the desciption of this game...Ive only played it for like 2-3 hours total and Im kinda liking some things about the game and other bits Im finding it a bit wierd..Really does feel like Rainbow Six in the lobbies..

I think you'll either love this game or youl'l feel theyve killed Ghost Recon...

Anyone that wants the old style of gameplay go back and play Summit Strike..this is the new breed of GR..

Graphics 9/10
Sound 8/10
Gameplay 9/10 (Ememy and Team AI is sweet now)

That my 2 bobs worth after 2 hours of gameplay..Wonder what I'll think after a couple of weeks of playin this game..??
