Hello,
Ok so here is my setup.
I have tried this with my mac and my pc using the latest kai software for both.
The mac, pc, xbox, and 360 are all on the same router (wrt54g running dd-wrt) all are wired, no wireless.
I startup kai go, into the halo2 americas room, pop in the halo 2 disc, but the 360 never sees any games avaliable. So I turn off the 360, turn on the xbox, and bam it lists at least a dozen games. SO I said this is weird, leave the xbox on and connected to kai, start my own custom game, then turn on the 360.
The 360 sees that game fine, and I can connect to it. Kai is still running, but the 360 can only see the game I created on the xbox, not the rest. (only games on the local network).
If I exit that game on the xbox, the xbox will still list all availible games from kai.
so baiscally the 360 doesn't see anything from kai. I dmz'd the 360 too (if that would make a difference). I have tried other games too; PDZ and Call of duty for the 360, with no luck.. What could be the problem??
thanks for the help..

Are you running version 7.0.0.6 of Kaid on your router? Versions prior to 7.0.0.6 will not recognize the 360. |

although dd-wrt does have a kai clinet,
I have tried from both the mac and pc (started the daemon, and the UI)
Sorry, should have made that clear..
The mac one, to my knowledge, may need to be updated?? But I am using the latest one available from your site..
But doesn't the PC one update itself?
thanks for the quick reply..

If you go into the diagnostics in the Kai UI (hit the little magnifying glass icon) it'll tell you what version of the engine you're running. |

hmm I read your other post. I am not at home now, so I can't check on the pc.. But I did just download it last week and install it.. And it did do some updates when i did.
The mac is my main machine and I would like to use it on there. Do you know where kai is loacted so I can find the version number? (like the directory where it's installed)
If it's not the latest? Any word on when the updated version will be out?
thanks again for all your help.. it's really appreciated..

Yeah my Macintosh says I'm running 7.0.0.5 and I'd like to get Kai up and going with my 360 on it - is there a .6 upgrade for the Mac yet? |

Sweet, thanks for the quick reply.
Not to sound like a total noob but what do I need to do with those files once I've got 'em to upgrade my Kai? |
