Its (almost) a return to NFS roots, none of this underground stuff. NFS on the 3DO was one of the coolest and best handling car games ever even today. Yes there is modding but its all simplified into sport/pro/etc so you don't mess about about buying parts.
The driving is excellent and the cops vicious (if a little stupid when your only at level 1!), reminds me of NFS:Hot Pursuit which was the last 'true' NFS before the Underground games.
Maybe a little short on cars but it does have the Vauxhall Manaro which is like a modern day Lotus Carlton (-: |

I'm sure a few hundred thousand 360 owners (not me )will want to correct me on this but the preview version I played seemed slightly jerky, but gorgeous! |

i had a demo, the one thing that put me off was the fact i was playing burnout revenge constantly for a week before i tried it and i couldnt quite get used to the more realistic handling! love a good police chase though, even if iot only lasts 30 seconds before i make best friends with a wall.
think its maybe worth giving it another shot then? |

Defintely. Me and my housemate are racing each other to finish it at the moment, one thing when ur doing the milestones (e.g. tag 5 cops) don't lose the cops too fast as they're a bit dumb at the start of the chase |

IMO, the graphics are not so hot, looks like a ps2 game.
I have played a few levels, sure the motion video of the charcters are cool, but its just another EA racer.
EA needs to improve its games, same old tat time after time. |

Nah i quite like the handling in NFS, even if its not as fast as Midnight Club I'm finding TOCA a bit of a ballache at the moment, I know ita realistic but I just touch the grass and get penalized.... |
