help request

Is your network reachable? no
Are you using a port-forward? yes
Is your console being detected? yes
Brief description of your network setup (include model numbers): cable internet through router with xbox and pc's are connected wirelessly. router model : netgear wgr 614 v5
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? yes microsoft internet - made changes so it wont block it
Operating System? windows xp
Problem description? wen i go to port forward it asks me to give a 'starting port' and 'ending port' - wat do i write here? i read somewhere you have to type in 30000 but where? and what do u type in the other spots?

yep ive tried that as well but it still says 'unreachable' and its annoying because im so eager to play on xlink! all software firewalls are unblock and allowing xlink activity so i cant work out the problem. Crying or Very sad

any ideas

Have you read the quick start? It seems to me that not many people have had luck running both PC and XBox wirelessly.

yep ive read the quick start like hundreds oftimes! Laughing

so yeah - the xbox and modem are wired to the router hmmm. i dunno. any ideas watso ever?

I'm assuming you have tried the kaiport 0 and PAT on?

If you do set a UDP port forward you can turn off PAT.
