Help Request: Xbox help

Is your network reachable? yes
Are you using a port-forward? i wasn't but now i am to be safe
Is your console being detected? no
Brief description of your network setup:it was my xbox>computer>internet using wireless usb(worked fine) now its xbox>router (xlink running on wireless usb comp)
Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? no firewalls, not even windows firewall
Operating System? windows xp prof
Problem description? i was connecting through the computer, but i changed to going through the router, everything is set up properly, its just the console is not getting detected and i cant join games(obviously) any ideas ?

You did forward UDP port 30000 on the router? You need to change Kai Port to 30000 in that case.
If the console is not detected, try setting the Network Adapter to the network card (or usb connection) that connects to the router (and via router to xbox).
Make sure to check Show Dangerous cards to see the USB card in the list.

But most of all, go with a complete wired setup if this doesnt work. Get the all-wired setup to work first and go from there.

ok, it works on all wired. so i guess its the port.
