I'm trying to bridge my xbox (192.168.2.0 network) on a wrt54g running alchemy to me 192.168.1.0 network to which my PC running kai is on. I've got it set up such that the xbox can connect to the internet, and anything on the 1.0 network can connect to the xbox. I've set up all the static routes needed for this. Unfortunately, the System Link play and MAC address broadcast stuff doesn't seem to get routed across the subnets. Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks!
edit: I'd really just like to get system link to work between these two boxes over the wireless bridge for LAN play. That'd be a good starting point. How can I set up a static route for the broadcast data? |

Did you ever make any headway on this problem? I am having the same problem. No Kai but my Xbox gets out to the internet just fine.

Not really I eventually just set up my router and client's to use WDS which fixed all the Kai problems, but I understand it reduces the bandwidth significantly.
Someone suggested trying this, which I haven't yet:
The static route you need to set up on your ROUTER is:
dest: 192.168.1.255
mask: 255.255.255.0
gateway: 192.168.1.3
As SHAH suggested this should allow the xbox to broadcast LAN games.

Yeah I've tried all that. Didn't really work. I ended up using WDS too, although I'm trying to get OpenWRT working as that is supposed to make a transparent bridge.
