OK - those sound fair enough to me..

btw Smile I got the game today. Just turned it on, it detected immediately and configured :/

I dunno if the pal one is different (well I know joiners / hosts can be in any order on pal - which i think is different) - but I don't see how people can have such massive problems... it just works...

The thing which gets people, and me included, is when u set up to host, it seems to think that a multiplayer race WITH ONLY ONE PERSON IN IT is a resonable default... lol... change it to 2 Smile

yep ive also had no issues. instant online for me.

I also found that you dont need to reboot ps2 or kai each time.

me as joinee in 1on1
when game over and goes to replay FMV the joinee should continously press start till the circuit screen reappears.

If the host goes and leaves you on the circuit select screen just choose one and itll drop back to main menu Smile

waited for new "hoster" to join my room... and off we went no messing.

best game I have had so far is on a same ISP with a ping of 31ms.

After reading all fo the guides, and trying multiple configs, I just hooked up my laptop like the following:

PS2 -> cross over cable --> NIC card in back of laptop (Dell 8600 FYI)
Intel Wireless card --> wireless router/firewall --> internet

I never could get my linksys wireless bridge to work. Total BS. but glad this worked.
