Hello out there, you will have to bare with me here as i am totally new to the whole wireless connection thing, i have a psp with ridge & want to play online, well fell at the first hurdle really as i cant even get the bloody usb wireless lan thing going.
I have a broadband connection(usb modem) & no networks set up (just one pc connected to the web)
I have installed the drivers & client manager software that came with the dongle.
When in windows & I view available wireless networks i get this message-

windows cannot configure this wireless connection, if you have enabled another program to manage this wireless connection use that software.
(which i guess means client manager?)

Tried using the airstation client manager, go into profiles, click on AOSS then get a screen with AOSS progress:

please initialize AOSS on the access point.

searching for an AOSS mode access point.

This message hangs around for a while the another message pops up:

An AOSS mode access point was not detected.

This is as far as i have got really, i know it's going to be something really obvious but have not had much experience at all in the setting up of networks etc.
hope you can help a thickie

Hiya,

Firstly get rid of the Client Manager software, you shouldn't need it.
Make sure that Windows Wireless Conenction Manager is ticked in the Wireless Networks tab for the USB WiFi Adapter (in Network Connections).

Then pretty much after that is following the screenshot guide (see sticky) - any other problems can be referred to the post:-

Hopefully this should help you
