Hi newbie here,ive just joined xlink,and i bought an original xbox console last year,which has been modded with a hard drive with games on it,and more.
when it starts it says 'bmc4gamers',then loads up all the games.It also plays original discs still.
Im trying to play games online via xlink,got as far as installing it on my pc ok,but when i load for example halo 2 disc and try to play online,i select xbox live,and it says 'dont sign in' or 'sign in'.
when i select 'dont sign in',it just returns to the main menu.If i select sign it,it quits the game then the system just reboots.
I dont know if this is because my xbox is modded,or because the sign in system has been inactive for years?
I have a current microsoft username on my Xbox One X,but no idea if this links to anything.
Sorry for my naivety,and any help appreciated,
