I found that the amount of people in attached to the orbital may be a factor but I believe the issue is a timeout issue or inactivity issue. I made a new user name and it allowed me to connect instantly. I also found that when I got detached from one name, I would join on the other and my previous name was still online but idle. Perhaps this is why I could not reconnect. After about 30-60 minutes I would be able to connect on that name again; EVEN THOUGH my 'disconnect UI' configuration is 'NEVER', maybe the server is logging time and activity.
Not sure but hopefully this helps anyone else in the same boat.
Thanks a lot XLink! HMU if you want to play Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. |

Hi etsyal1e2r3,
I don't believe the amount of people connected to be a factor as I connected to our orbital network from Australia and had no trouble while there are 300+ people connected.
The server itself can handle around ~1000 concurrent connections as it runs on a gigabit network with some minor redundancy to compensate for heavy network traffic.

I have tried to replicate this issue but to no avail couldn't, do you get dropped from the orb sitting idle or while playing a game? |
