I have heard that it's possible. Is there a FAQ or tutorial video on how to setup a BCPS3 specifically for Socom 2?

Hi guys,

Yes AFAIK it is possible but there is no current set-up guide for it on these forums. If I can borrow a backwards compatible PS3, i'll try and have a go at making one, but may I suggest until then, try following either/both of the existing ones here?

Using the first link I was able to set things up well enough to get online and see the LAN room list, however I am unable to join any games. When I try to join the join bar at the bottom of the screen goes about 75% of the way and then freezes, maybe 30 seconds go by and then I get an error message:

"You have experienced a multiplayer connection failure. Please try a different game."

I can create rooms, but I am not sure if they work either because nobody will join for me to test it out.

I got it to work properly. The problem was that I still had an old patch installed in the Memory Card Utility on my PS3. After deleting that it worked. Thanks for the help.
