Is xlink going to be enabled on xbox one and ps4 and if so when

At this point in time both consoles should work the same as the previous generation consoles meaning the networking technologies shouldn't have changed too much.

The only thing we would need is a list of mac addresses (first 6 numbers and letters) which allows our system to determine if it is an Xbox or not but that's not a 100% requirement to actually play over system link.

If you have friends that can help you test you can use any arena within XLink Kai as they are console locked, once we have a decent chunk of testing complete we can start writing documentation for these next gen consoles.

Do either of them even do system link? I not sure that's a thing any more.

A few sources say yes they do, not having either of them I can't confirm nor deny whether they do and currently there doesn't seem to be any Xbox One titles with support anyway but I would imagine there will be as it's still what I consider to be a vital part of great game.
