I'm trying to get xlink kai setup so my nieces can play games on their PSP's wherever they are but I can't show them how because I can't even get my own setup working. I can neither see my console nor reach the network no matter what I try. Here are the particulars:
OS: Windows XP running under virtualbox with bridged network adapter and static IP address
Wifi adapter: Belkin f5d7050 version 4(Zydas chipset)
Wifi Driver: Belkin 6.3.2.16
PSPXlink mode: Enabled
Kai engine version:7.4.26
DSL Modem/Router: Actiontec GT784WN with UDP port 30000 forwarded to my XP VM and uPnP enabled
PSP 3000 running CFW 6.60 PRO-C2
Game: Gran Turismo
I have verified that I can make an AdHoc connection from my Wifi adapter to my PSP on both my host OS (Ubuntu x64) and my guest OS when kaiengine is not running. But, even if I am connected to my PSP, the connection disappears when I start the kaiengine and my console does not appear when I login. Also, my network reachable status is 'not yet'. I have tried various configurations of the kaiengine to no avail including:
1. Setting the network adapter to both Belkin and autodetect
2. Setting Port to both 0 and 30000, both of which look to be properly reflected in the kai metrics window
3. Setting PAT to both enabled and disabled
Packet capture engine is set to PSSDK anf Follow PSP SSID is enabled. Is there some magic combination I'm missing? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
