Did you forward port 30000 to the static IP? Did not get that far
Did you click the globe after forwarding to see if your network goes reachable? Did not get that far
What console are you using? PS3
Is your console being detected? Did not get that far
Brief description of your network setup: I have a modem from AT&T U-Verse that my laptop is connected to wirelessly in a different room where my PS3 is. The PS3 is connected to the laptop and laptop is connected wirelessly to the modem that is in a completely different room. Laptop cannot be wired to modem as modem is far away in a different room than where PS3 set up is.

Do you use a software firewall? What brand? Have you made any changes to it? N/A
Operating System? Windows XP
Problem description? Cannot configure Network Bridge for my set up to work with Windows XP. Cannot find any instructions to make Kai work with XP using a wireless laptop connected to a modem and a PS3 connected via Ethernet cable to the wireless laptop. Need help in configuring bridge connection for wireless internet access via the bridge using windows xp to get XLINK KAI to work with my set up.

You don't need to bridge it. You just will need to change your network adapter to the Ethernet port your PS3 plug into.

How do you do that? Any step-by-step instructions on how to get XLINK Kai working with this set up?

Start XLink. Go to this address in your internet browser http://127.0.0.1:34522/config.htm . Look under your Network Settings and change the network adapter to the adapter you PS3 plug in to. If you not sure won't one post a list of all your network adapters here.
