ok so i have 2 PSPs both with CFW on them and i bought a new memory stick for the second one so i can loan it to a friend. however when i put the memory stick in the little orange light for it flashes but doesnt stop like my normal memory stick does. and it also say there still no memory stick in the psp so i cant format it or anything. is there something i have to do to make it compatable with custom firmware or does that not matter? or did i just buy a crappy memory stick?

Did you buy a Memory Stick Pro DUO and nbot another mem stick ? Do you have a card reader other than your psps that supports mem sticks maybe an internal one in your pc ? If not you can buy a multiple card reader they are very cheap and try to format the mem stick with it.

well it's not that i really did anything except get a new memory stick. my only conclusion is either tha the one i bought was a really convincing fake one, or that somehow it jsut doesnt work with PSP. i have to send it back and have them test it. sorry i coudlnt be more help to anyone else wiht this problem
