I'm stuck. I have configured all, it says network reachable. I'm using the fsd plugin for xlink kai and I don't see any games to join. If I try to host, no succes.
Any suggestions are highly appreciated. Thank you. |

Thank you for the response.
I have followed the guide.
xbox360 --> router = wired connection
win7 computer --> router = wireless
I have upnp in my router enabled so I don't need portforwarding (anyway I've tried with port forwarding and no success)
I have disabled the firewall in windows.
I still can't see any servers in the system link game menu.
Here is my Xlink Kai configuration:

In your Kai config under "default profiles" (right upper corner) you have to set it to "Seperate use - engine pc" and check the option "allow remote ui connections" and uncheck "close engine when ui closes"
Note: If your are planning to run kai through FSD (Freestyle Dashboard), Set it this way and just run Kai engine form the PC, NOT THE WEB OR USER, JUST THE ENGINE |

When I select separate use - engine pc it automatically checks "allow remote ui connections" and unchecks "close engine when ui closes". I've done that, still the same. I enter the arena, enter the game, but in the game no servers are displayed.
Thank you for your attention |

You have port forwarded as you said then enter port 30000 in your kai config. And your logging in via FSD as in the guide ? |

Yes.
I have checked with PFPortChecker from portforward.com if the port forwarded succesfully and it ok. In FSD it says that it is connected to xlink kai, I login then select a game, go to play online -> game arena, select an arena and enter the game. still no server found even though in game arena there are people hosting games.
I don't know what to do more. Any help is appreciated, thank you. |

Give your PC a static IP like 192.168.1.100
Your friends/players and you need to be at the same network mask (255.255.0.0) and same ip Scheme (Example: 192.168.xxx.xxx)
The ip range doesnt matter as long as it has 192.168 in it like from 192.168.1.100 to 192.168.1.110
Your routers subnet has to be 255.255.0.0 |

Already done this, I try with a friend from nearby. We both have same ip class and 255.255.0.0 as subnet mask. Ping about 20 ms. I've tried all the posted guides... |

Maybe upgrading to FSD v2.0 RC 2.2 will solve the problem. The thing is in your pics you posted the public port in the kai metrics is 64511 and not 30000 and in your kai config for port there is 0 and not 30000. Change it, it might solve your problem. |

SOLVED. I switched to wired connection between computer and router. So wired connection between computer and router is mandatory after all...
Xbox360 -> router = Wireless
Computer -> router = Wired
I can see servers and join them to play.
Thank you |
