I have ZyDas for my wifimax and when ever i bring it up it goes away. Anyone know what the problem is? I -put the compatibility to windows 7 since thats what i have but it just pops up and goes away.

Whats the model of your wifi stick ? Heres the zydas tool for vista http://www.mediafire.com/?tf720ph7at11c7y run it in vista compat mode.

Its really old WL-685Z

But I dont have it plugged in. Does it need to be plugged in when i set it and start ZyDas?

Couldnt hurt try it. Just to be safe heres a guide http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/wiki/doku.php?id=evo7:pspwifimaxguide and here http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=36528 and heres the driver for your model http://www.ralinktech.com/en/04_support/support.php?sn=500 you need the RT257x/RT2671/RT520x chipset driver.

I have Windows 7 so none of these work. :/

Use the Vista guides and do it in xp or vista compatibility mode.

Says :"Service Device error 10"
It doesnt let me install it as a driver

Why you want to start ZyDAS without the stick plugged? It should start automatically once you plug in the stick, and automatically close when you unplug the stick. At least this is how it works for me, using the Belkin FD57050, which is compatible with ZyDAS.
