Is XLink kai safe?

So, i'm worried about the security of xlink. If i'm hosting a game do i basically have to make my own server? And for what i know, opening ports and creating servers mean that almost anyone can acces my computer. So, what i'm asking is that does my computer fill up with viruses when i open a port and host a game? Or is there any password thing that i can set up?

xlink kai is a program that works outside the virus and does not affect your computer is 100% secure.
the opening of the ports is used to watch the games and not affect anything.

Thanks. Now that i know the security affairs i can safely setup a jak x online play. Just have to wait until my dad stops playing poker...
