This is quite litteraly the only way to get a usb stick in western australia. I've not been able to find a single retailer here that has a USB wi-fi stick that doesn't cost 100's of dollars and HAS A SMALL CHANCE OF MAYBE having this "promiscuous" mode it needs.
No places that stock "planex" usb wifi sticks will ship here either.
So hoping that one might work, or someone might know somewhere that will shit planex to Australia!
Thanks in advance.

Well it advertises itself as being Xlink Kai compatible but until someone (like yourself) buys it and tries it, no-one will know if it works or not. Chances are it 'should' and it will probably be a matter of finding compatible drivers for it. If you get it and get it to work, please post back any information about the set-up of it that might be useful to others,
I have also purchased that wifi usb stick, except i didn't get the CD which was suppose to have been included with it, so now i'm left with this stick, which i can't install
