Oba-munism: Here's your stinkin' "change"

I have plenty of points of why Obama is a scary edit: president, but nothing that will change anything.

My neighbor and I predict civil war within the next 10-15 years.

Canadians, who needs 'em Twisted Evil

Now we can wait 2 years for hip replacements or surgery to remove cancer like you guys do. It's ok, those things can wait. Wink

On the bright side, I get to put in my two weeks notice at work in January, cause hell, who needs to work when you elect the Robin Hood of our time to office? This is also the same person who probably couldn't get the security clearance to enter the white house due to those people he has been associated with. Now he's a resident. Don't worry world, we'll be just like the rest of you soon enough.

Had to add this from another forum I'm ranting in...
Great, now we can join in the worldwide redistribution of wealth, well, after whatever is left from what will take place in our own country. On an essentially smaller scale (only nationally) Obamin Hood and his merry men well tax the shite out of big industry. They will only allow so many "carbon footprints" created by big industry. However, they will allow the purchasing of these "carbon footprints" from smaller businesses. Who do you think is going to be the dealer? The gov't. So we take money from the big companies and give it to the smaller ones of course while the government gets it's piece of the action. Remember, the house always wins.

For those of you who like the discovery channel and the show deadliest catch, it's like the Alaskan snow crab fishing. Every snow crab season, only so many pounds of crab can be caught per season, each boat gets a certain amount of shares. The bigger boats can't usually profit off the allotted amount of crabs so they have to either shut down or buy the shares from the smaller boats. Sounds like a great idea except this usually requires the smaller boats to give up all their shares and shut down their own operations. Now the larger boats can catch a greater limit and the smaller operations just get paid for their shares and not doing any work at all. Hmm.

Now the country has elected a president who wants to shut down the coal burning power plants, doesn't support nuclear power, wont drill for oil, and expects this country to run off of the sun light, wind, and inefficient fuel made from corn? Can't wait until we start giving unindustrialized countries money for global warming. Between this and the thought of what he plans on doing to our health care system, does anyone really believe we're going to get any sort of debt relief? Probably not, but at least we'll be like the rest of the world and they'll like us better. (where the hell is the "fake smile" smilie?)

Bush fucked up the race for McLame as well as his poor decisions publicly that matter to so many people. No for abortion, even if rape was involved and a child was formed? Coming from a man, big words but from most women (and believe it or not, 6 out of 10 women have been or will be raped in their lifetime) that killed him.

No to stem cell research? Come on now, I drop more seeds in a day tossin off to know that 1 cell that could change the life of thousands if not millions is a bad choice.

Don't get me wrong, I respect the man and what he has gone through in his life. POW torture camps, beating beyond belief, and still to have the drive to keep pushing forward. I have nothing bad to say to him personally. All he had to do was change some of his values and not make the threat that if Obama was president, he would be challenged by foreign nations on his will to run a great country.

Biden said that, not McCain. Here's the exact quote...
"Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking,"

can't wait for the results of our troops getting pulled out. whether its a gradual process or not, it's a bad decision.

you start a job and get your hands dirty, you'd better as hell finish it.

it's like taking a transmission out of a car, ripping it open and leaving it on the ground.

car ain't gonna work.
neither is the removal plan.

Suppose it depends on how you define 'finish it'. The car is finished when the transmissions is working again. A war is finished when... ???

You know that's just like my brother, he would ask for money to get parts for a vehicle to get fixed but left the tools out that they would get lost or stolen there for the job couldn't get done.

Leaving it up to someone else to finish or to clean up the mess that was made is kinda, well... not right.

If we found Weapons of Mass Destruction I would say we need to finish the job. We helped them get Sudam out of power, it’s really up to them to rebuild their country, no us. And to be honest I believe they would make more progress if we were not all over their country.

Send our brothers, sisters, friends, and parents home where they belong. If we are needed over there again, we can be there in 12 hours.

Foreign nations will challenge the US no matter who the president is. nFox news is right wing bullshit IMO. They photoshopped a bunch of pics of democrats in one of their stories then came out and said yeah we photoshopped those photos and they werent what the democrats looked like. Media is full of bias but Fox News takes the cake on outrageous stuff IMO.

No WMD's (he got rid of the ones the us and uk sold him in the 80s)
No Iraq ties to bin laden, no 45 min threat, was there anything that we were told that was true? NO!!!

It's been one big fuck up from day one. And it's always us the people that have to pay the price.
Enough is enough, if you want war go fight it yourself.

I'm happy Polish soldiers left Iraq, and I hope they do the same in Afghanistan.

p.s. A Iraqi friend once told me that the Iraqis, live best with a dominating leader like Sadaam b/c they are used to being bossed around by a leader who sorts shit out between the different sects of Muslims, if there is nobody like that leading them - all hell breaks loose. They need a leader like Sadaam there without all that torture stuff.

I couldn't have said that better myself Duke. It really isn't an issue of how well we are doing there one way or the other, its about why we are there. Iraq needs to work for themselves and decide what they want to become.

I Have to admit, I am curious as to how this will unfold. What's done is done and to not support your president, though it our right, in my eyes is un-American. I have to admit that these elections have made me more vocal about politics, and has even spurred interest in future local involvement.

I know its an opinion but i think there is no harm in disagreeing with the president. The whole time i was praying that he was doing what is best for america. I really dont see how invading iraq was good for america. IT MADE GAS GO UP LOLOLOL jk.
We might not see untill years down the road.

A janitor at my work said that years down the road the UN will arrest GW Bush for war crimes. He compared him to sadam and hitler lmao. idk if this is even plausible. We invaded to free the iraqi people from sadam and give them freedom (democracy). I thought the war on terror was just war on the terrorists that attacked us but apparently its all forms of terrorism. Also why not help out israel fight their war. Those people are terrorizing each other, same with alot of other people....but they 'aint got no oil'.

Could civil war be considered terrorism?
