Uninstall, then try doing a file search For Kai, and delete everything that was left behind, and Re-install. Might be conflict between the old config files.

i think some of the settings are in the registry...i couldnt find any files beside those 4 files in the kai folder

and i think it probably the card's problem

did you guys get "Limited connectivity" when the wireless card is connected to the PSP?

I do not get Limited because i am using Wifi Link which is a lower model to Wifi Max.

As for you guys not been able to see users in games it could be one of the following

1. A firewall is blocking the connection
2. You have some sort of anti virus program blocking the wifi link and/or XLink Kai
3. There is a firewall in your modem/router thats not allowing Kai to pass through correctly

Try and eliminate this things for me and if unsuccessful report back with anything new you have found

look for hidden files and folders, you may see some txt files for kaienginepersist, kaiUIstorage, and kaiuserconfig, try deleting those and re-install, worked for me anyhow

un-installing Kai and deleting the folder will do nothing to help fix the problem they are having.

Turning off your firewall doesnt make you open to hackers. If you are using the Norton Firewall follow this guide

Enabling or disabling Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall

Maybe you can try as following:
1.run the mhp2g game
2.go to the online lobby
3.link your psp
4.then start Kai engine and go to the area where you want to play

Likewise
when i loaded on to KAI, there was some other players shown on a certain arena, but i couldnot get access to either of these platforms
Weird enough, when i applied to NDSL with the same wireless card, it all worked well
Maybe it's just nobody is playing my game(NBA08, WE2008, PE6, Worms 2)

Are you even going into Arena Mode, If your not click the globe in the top left corner and go into a PSP arena that best describes you, choose your game category, choose your game and start playing.

Messenger is not the place where you find Gamers on Kai. Messenger mode is for general chatting only

I have a similar problem (and since no one bothered to read my post.....)

Three of my friends and I Kai with MHP2G on a regular basis and usually there's no problem. Two days ago, a friend of mine and I started encountering this weird problem:

When we log into Kai in Messenger Mode, we can see each other fine. It's only in Arena Mode where the problem appears. Basically, whichever one of us two entered a private arena later will not be able to see the other person:

- He create private arena, I join, he sees me, I don't see him.
- I create private arena, he joins, I see him, he doesn't see me.
- Another friend created private arena, I joined, then he joined, I see him, he doesn't see me. The friend who created the private arena sees both of us fine, and we both can see him.
- Same situation but he joins first. He sees me, I don't see him. Third friend still sees both of us and we both see him too.

And when I say "see", I mean on the left side of the Kai window (arena part), not the right side (messenger part), where we actually DO see each other. It's just that the arena simply doesn't show the one who joined AFTER, and we can't see each other in the Gathering Hall in MHP2G either.

We're all using WifiMAX and Kai ver 7.1.7.8 (because the new 7.3.something version crashes and doesn't start properly on XP). It's been working for us for the past God knows how many months (we've been Kai-ing on 2G ever since it came out) and I don't see how this problem would just pop up out of nowhere.

I would appreciate any help I can get.

there has been alot of strange things happening with Kai at the moment and trust me MeanMF is working at his best to try and get these bugs out. Sit tight and maybe when he finishes his updates it will be fixed.

Also whoever told you the new version of Kai crashes is lying. Only around 5-10% of Kai has had this problem maybe only 3-4% now have this problem. We have found ways to fix this and alot of Kai users have fixed the issues and most and now playing on 7.3.1.7 like they would on the old version.

If you use the new version and encounter any errors ask for help in the General Help forum and ill give you some threads to you at
