How do i get 2 PSP online to monster hunter's GH? SS inside

I've a buffalo wifi, which allows me to connect my PSP online. Whenever i tried connecting with my bro's PSP, i cant seem to get him to connect online.

It seems at any one time, its either im online, or only he can be online playing with others.

The SS shows how my buffalo can only apparantly connect to either my PSP or my bro's, but never both. Am i missing anything?

Do i need to get this to work on 2 comps, with 2 KAI installed?

Either you or your brother hosts a game.
Then the other one that is not hosting just connects regularly to it.
And connect the host via your Buffalo adapter.

At least thats how i think it works :/

this is what i want you to do next time your on kai and you want your bro playing

Note: this is diffrent from a wireless access point

1. load kai, load game, go to GH:guild hall, but you new that

2. make a quest and have your wireless adapter connect to your psp and not your bro's but you knew that also

3. make sure the people on kai relize you have another psp joining in your home, and make sure they see the quest your making

4. let them join the quest

5. let your brother search for your quest

6. if he finds it and the people on kai are still in your quest
your brother should connect fine and continue the quest with you and your kai buddies

it will look something like this

[ kai ] your psp is connected to kai and people see the game and
[---------] guild quest

|wifi adapter|
----------------> Your Psp
|||| -----------------< Your Brothers Psp Searching For Quest/Joining Quest

Appreciate your kind and helpful assistance.

I've tried that method before.

The problem is that my bro's MH2 and my MH2 were never able to join the same GH, even via ad hoc, because we are on different version.

Basically i can be online in my GH, and he is online in his GH, but we can never see each other online. I can only see my friend's and he can only see his friend's online, because i got my MH2 from my friend, and he got his from his friend, and apparantly, both our friends are on different version of MH2, unfortunately.

So from step 1 - 4, it'll work. However come step 5, "let your brother search for your quest", he'll never be able to search for my posted quest.

Ok, so basically its impossible to get 2 different version of MH2 playing via one wifi max?

When you say diffrent versions
You mean he has Portable and you have Freedom or vice versa?
If not his channel settings need to be set to channel 1 and yours aswell.

Portable = Jap/Euro
Freedom = USA

Thats how the game is divided into regions.

Both of ours are Monster hunter freedom 2 tho, thats what i read of it ingame from both PSP.

Then, like i said.
Make sure you are both in the same adhoc channel.
You change this by going into the main psp menu, settings tab, network settings, Ad Hoc, change it to Channel 1.

Specifically ch 1? I've tried both on auto, doesnt work, maybe i'll try 1 later and feedback.

Oh, nope not for kai.

Even when we tried connecting to each other via ad hoc mode, both at ch 1, we cannot see each other in the GH.

And i think we're both MH2, and not portable, cos im able to play with my group of kai friends with my version, and when i use my bro's, his can play with my same kai friends, so apparantly, we must be on the same version, except now that we cant get each other online together on kai.

it is channel one for kai, because its the simplest and everyone is set to it, if can connecto anyone else in the guild hall that seems to be your problem not kai's

Yes. It was never Kai's problem, dont think i mentioned it was.

The issue is, im wondering if i can connect via 1 kai, via 1 wifi, with 2 psp which are on different versions togeter.

Apparantly, i dont think it can be done. So what do i need? Possiblt 1 more wifi? Anything else?

I have got 2 psp's to work with mine but as far as i know there the same version. Then again I used WIFI Max from dantel and it connected both 2 kai at same time.

Try going to options while in guild hall and set guild hall select to manual and go to same room on the same channel without kai.

If that dosent work then I dont know what to do other than ask a friend if u can try using there psp and see if its ur psp's problem.

If that is the case then you may need to get assistance from sony.

Thanks for your time mate. I've tried that and it didnt work, but its alright. The whole trouble started because im on a different version of MH2, so when MH3 comes out, i just need to make sure this doesnt happen again.
