you have the xbox wired into the PC ? .. are you using a crossover cable ? .. did you setup ICS ?

ok i no longer need help...i didnt have a router or crossover...i had the xbox connected to my modem through ethernet and my pc connected through the usb...i was told by a member on xbconnect that i could make a crossover which i needed in order to host games...so i made one with a cat-5 and it worked...i tried xlink kai and it also work...now my connection to my xbox is through my network card on my pc instead of my modem and the modem is still connected to my pc through usb...i have no further problems playin xlink kai...thanks for everything though
