Hey guys,
For those of you that use firefox, here's a list of extensions that i cannot live without:
Tab Effect https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/4258/
I found Tab Effect last week and it's pretty damn cool. Every time i switch to a different tab i grin. Sometimes i even make the 'woosh' noises myself.
Adblock Plus https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1865/
This is a must have for every firefox user. It'll block advertisments on websites automatically.
Download Statusbar https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/26/
This extension makes it a bit easier to manage your downloads... plus a hate having popups, even if they are a part of firefox.
IE Tab https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1419/
Let's face it... not all websites are firefox compatible. damn you activex!!! THis extension will allow you to open IE inside of firefox as a tab. Very handy.
Forecastfox https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/398/
I'd rather have Firefox tell me the weather than some evil weatherman. I could also look out the window to see if it's raining, but it's easier to glance at my firefox window.
Tab Mix Plus https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1122/
This one comes in pretty handy with x1. I always protect the x1 tab so it cannot be closed. I also drag it to the far left tab.
XBMC Fox http://tinyurl.com/2d7qt3 (points to the xbox-scene forums)
I don't think this extension is officially supported by mozdev, but i still think it's pretty cool. It allows you to send urls to XBMC within firefox. For example, if there's an .avi or .mp3 on a website, you can right click on the file and send it to firefox. I use this extension a lot.
UTorrent WebUI http://torrentfreak.com/firefox-extension-for-utorrent-webui/
This extension is pretty cool as well. It allows you to control UTorrent using Firefox!
