its been really messey here on the east coast of USA anyway im only 2 hours from NYC not to far from when the twin towers crashed...it was very sad Crying or Very sad

War is in our nature.

Have you guys ever seen any of those NGC or Discovery shows about chimps and monkeys?

In nature they go to war right there in the jungle, typically over stuff like territory, but what it is really all about is resources, the more jungle they have the more food they have to eat, and so the bigger their tribe can become and the more mates they will have.

We also typically go to war for much the same thing, only the resources are a little different and the relationship between the resources and these basic needs are not always directly obvious but they are still there all the same just like our hairy cousins.

Some pacifist will say that perhaps we should have evolved past all that by now, ya know I agree I also think that men no longer need nipples, tail stumps and body hair but hey we still have, so get over it.

All you can do is look out for yourself and your loved ones in these troubled times.

Well, humans are unique from animals in that we have a choice; the choice to follow our instincts or initial reactions, or to disregard them.

In theory, yes, we could live without war. In fact there where many native american indian tribes that lived hundreds of years without it.

Will we as a global culture ever live without war?

In practice, probably not for a very long time, or maybe never? It's nearly impossible to tell.

To say people hate American's because of our freedoms is quite naive. There are MANY, MANY reasons why americans are so dispised. The U.S. is far from an innocent nation, which means that the people affected by this would rather die than live here.

Ultimately this video is not about that (I actually believe the video to be pretty piss poor in terms of editing, style and originality, although I do give it points for what it is trying to accomplish), rather it is about war in general and sad results it inevitably creates.

When talking about natural traits you must look at Humans as an entire species not as isolated groups.

As NGC and Discovery teaches us isloated groups of any species do all sorts of weird and wonderful things.

It is only natural that there will always be some humans who will submit to their basic instincts and some who will suppress them.

So whilst some of us will opt against war, others probably lots, will see it as a convenient, yet terrible, base, solution to their problems.

War [or as Maggie Thahtcher likes to call it 'Conflict'] is here to stay, of that I'm sure.
