WIFI MAX ( Zydas ZD1211 chipset ) now works with Xlink Kai !

dunno I followed the guide(got it right now) I was done in 5 min. I can definitively say new drivers work like a charm.

i have try to uninstall all the things[[include the wifi max manager and the driver]]
then i do these step,,,,u see if i am wrong or not
1)plug the router first,,then install the plug's driver[it's for the window,,,not the "zadass"]
2)i install the wifi max manager
3)i install the driver of wifi max [v4.13]
4)i try to use the driver,,,,but it auto close
5)then , i check the wifi max manager,,,it said that driver not detected!!
6)i uninstall the v4.13,,,,and install the original one,,,
and the max manager has detect it= ="!!
but it can't set up as psp xlink mode!!

help me please~!

[p.s. when i unstall the driver,,,so file are locked , and can't be delete,,,
i have try to delete it,,,,but can't,,,and so,,,,when i uninstall it ,,,i just skip it1,,,,,can anyone tell me how to uninstall it clearly?]]

try skipping wifi max manager installer , just go with the drivers and then configure it manually like in the sticky post.that way maybe you can't surf the net with wifi max but you could be able to play on xlink.

to remove all files manually reboot and the just delete them , they shouldn't be in use anymore.

1- install drivers(only downloaded one , no wifi software)
2- reboot
3-plug wifi max in and when "new hardware detected" appears go all on auto.
4-configure it like in the sticky post.

I'm not sure but it could be this , because if the wifi max manager also installs drivers , then installing drivers again you could just be unistaliing them , or old files could give problems.

sorry if it doesn't work,but I don't have the device .

and the verson is not correct for xlink- -"!!

and with the cd drivers it won't work , you have to use the drivers downoladed from here :

and I said first install drivers , then plug it in!

guys waht all the WIFI MAX DATEL got Zydas ZD1211 chipset ?

I tried uninstalling all the drivers manualy but still no luck it allways asks for a file from the install disk while installing the new drivers and when i find that file on the disk it seems to install the old drivers instead. this is driving me mad.

Hey guys it seems to be that some of the wifi user including me need other drivers...

i had the same problems like the other users. so i searched and investigated some time to figure out what version my max wifi has.

some of u just should try the ZD1211B Driver.

it worked for me... so give it a try

your's plug is the XXX1211, right?
but the verson of mine is XXX1211B,,,,,
and so,,,,when ever i install the old verson of driver,,,,
it will not detect it- -"!!!

if i use the verson of 6.31,,,,will it have the xlink mode??

I'm not sure as I have the ZD1211 version but just try installing the drivers for ZD1211B and see if they have the "PSP Xlink Mode" option.

Whenever I try to config the driver os ZDWlan it shows up for a sec in taskbar then goes away. Please, can somebody give me detailed step by step instructions to help my problem? I'm not very good at this stuff x.x

I want to buy LevelOne WNC-0301USB which uses zd1211 but I don't have a wifi router...
Can I share the adsl usb modem connection with the wifi card and use it with Kai?!?

Kai will use your adsl usb modem internet connection to connect you to the game arenas and other Kai players

Ok, I didn't know this so i'm going to say it for the people that are just starting out like me.

I finally got kai to detected my psp by changing the ssid to what the games ssid is, but kai keeps closing by its self. I have searched and I have port forwarded for 30000 in my ADSL NAT and firewall. What am doing wrong?

BOTTOM LINE DOES DATEL WIFI MAX WORK WITH KAI AND MONSTER HUNTER FREEDOM. because i don't want to spend $40-50 on the WIFI MAX if it doesnt serv its purpose

ALSO can people tell me their set up...

Im EU and had no problem with the new drivers, and i connect to my psp with the ZD wireless lan config tool thing, i go to the advanced and the psp xlink mode checkbox is there, but when i click it it will not check.

also (probably related) when i run xlink it wont detect my psp like it should. im trying to play MHF see some of you there i expect (drake think ive seen you on gamefaqs forums and MH1 on ps2?)

i have a wired connection to my pc, no other wireless things within my network so i dont understand why the box wont check, and why xlink wont detect my psp, any help would be really really appriciated (im scared of the wyverns in MHF by myself lol)
