i ain't "happy" with my X360... but gotta realise what you getting for the price. (try buying a PC with tri-core + 6 hardware threads)
yeah they can make that "super" console that can do everything what you expect. but imaging the price will be.
Xbox360 is a great console. also wish Microsoft included most of the Media capability, even let us pay for the codec such as divx and so on(i imagine they may do this after PS3 launched). or let us stream from XP
i personally do not play last gen games (PS2 & GC are packed up, only using Xbox1 for XBMC ). simply cos X360 supports HDTV. so 480p gaming is dead for me |

Thanks to the tax man, i have £350.00 sitting spare. My local store will sell me the 360 premium and any 2 games i like for £350.00. Think they said something about chucking in a 3 month xbl card as well.
so my question is this: what 2 games? do i go for?? the war package? graw and bf2? (both a bit of a let down, so i hear)
The racing package?
Pgr3 and burnout revenge?
or something else? like kameo and full auto
thoughts please! |

IMO get the war packege...
but if you can mix it, that will be better. GRAW, Oblivion & Fight Night 3 |

I thought COD2 was way better single player than GRAW..But for multi GRAW takes it (although I still think Summit Strike is better). BF2 is also great multiplayer. |

IMO you really can't go wrong with BF2 and GRAW. They are both quality online....people fall for hype and tend to expect too much. I agree with Mean...COD2 was a much better single player game than GRAW.
And if you can swing it......if somebody owns a 360 and does not try out Oblivion.....they'ld be making a HUGE mistake. |

Couldn't agree more.... one type of game i hate most are RPG, reason they takes too long and time consuming every session of play. and if don't play regularly you forget the quest & story etc. but this game is really sweet. |

Thx for the suggestions.
picked up a 360 premium yesterday. i got it, plus 3 games, and 3 months XBL for £365.00.
Games i got : GRAW, Tomb raider, and Kameo.
Not really a fan of tomb raider, so im gonna take that back and trade it in, for perhaps, burnout revenge, or PGR3..im currently downloading a playable demo of BF2...will have a look to see what its like.
EDIT: just had a quick blast on BF2, yeah this was the type of game i was wanting, seems a million times better on 360 then the orginial xbox.... choices, choices....i like the fact i can download most of the new games to get a feel for them...will spend a few hrs seeing whats what..hehe |

Is Kameo alot like Oblivion? I played Obl on PC and wondered around and kicked rats in the ass for 30 minutes, so I gave up. I'm not a fan of RPG, but I want to give one RPG game a chance, as I did with Zelda. |

Kameo is nothing like Oblivion.. It's a platformer, not an RPG. It's fun and creative, but nothing spectacular. They just added online coop play to it recently, but I haven't had a chance to check that out yet. |

Heheh. Get past the rats dude. There is just a little bit more to the game....
I pretty much kill rats by looking at them now.
Seriously. I hate RPGs as much as anyone...this is different though. |
